I have lots of silly memories of Bryce from senior year at Traip. I worked at Traip in the special education department. I saw Bryce daily as his homeroom was in the room I worked in. I helped with project graduation that year and asked Bryce if he would be a "model" for the fashion show - he politely declined with a mortified face. I don't know if he thought I wanted him to wear a dress but he was simply having none of it. :)
I remember Bryce as being a perfect fit in the class of 2008 - like there was something missing and they never knew it until Bryce showed up.
I also appreciate how nice he was to Luke during baseball -this year Luke is a junior and I told him as he went to pitchers and catchers that he needed to "Be like Bryce" and be nice to the underclassmen - not scare them! Bryce was a kid who understood the power of a team and sportsmanship. He was proud to be a Ranger and we were glad to have him as a part of Traip Academy's class of 2008!

To Bryce's WHOLE family. Your son, brother, cousin, nephew, etc. has touched my heart in ways YOU WILL NEVER KNOW. I rejoice that he is now HOME. He is in the Fathers arms. But when I took that pledge on the day that he went missing, I will never forget him. Rest in peace precious young man. Until we meet.

Michaella & Blake, I promised you in February that I would NEVER forget Bryce and I still mean that promise today! I will NEVER forget Bryce. I will NEVER forget any of you. Your family has shown amazing strength and courage and inspire all of us to be better, to do a little more for others everyday. I will be praying for each of you.
Sincerely,
Michelle Key

I would like to give my deepest condolences to parents and family of Bryce. I had a class once with but I didn't really know him, he was still my brother in Christ! To the family I know this is a difficult time, for the death of a love one is not easy. My grandmother died last Dec. so I know a little of how you feel, but God is here so just lead on him. The bible say that he who believeth in him should not parish but have ever lasting life. So Bryce is with the Lord and here in spirit not in body. You are all in my prayers.

There are many memories I could share, but the most recent one was before we moved to Hawaii....ice skating in Newport! Sarah and I and our kids drove down to Newport to spend the day with Michaella and her family. We sat at the house, catching up and chatting about anything and everything. Bryce sat down on the couch and Kamryn sat down right next to him! He was her special buddy! Took all of our kids to the ice rink in downtown Newport and had an awesome time! I remember Bryce holding baby Ian on his lap, covered in our Steelers blanket! The kids all had a great time going around the rink, taking turns with Chaella helping them. We were all sad when it was time to drive home, but we knew we would keep in touch! And with the way the military goes, you never know when you might be stationed with your "extended family" again! Love you all!!
